Neo Financial supports Interac e-Transfer and direct ATM access via the Neo Money card for moving money — there is no cash deposit option and no cheque deposit into Neo. As of September 2026, the standard e-Transfer limits apply: $3,000 per transaction, $10,000 per day, and a cap of 50 transfers per month. Sending and receiving e-Transfers is free.
In April 2026, Neo became a direct Interac e-Transfer network Participant (previously it operated indirectly through a sponsor arrangement), which Neo says gives it more control over the feature going forward.

There is no cash loading option. No cash deposit kiosks, no branch deposits.
Withdrawing from Neo Financial
Neo offers two ways to access your balance as cash:
- ATM withdrawal — use the Neo Money card at any Canadian ATM, up to $500/day. Neo itself charges no fee as of September 2026, but the ATM operator’s own fee applies (Build/Grow members get up to $5/month reimbursed).
- Interac e-Transfer — send funds to your bank account’s registered email or phone number, subject to the $3,000/transaction and $10,000/day limits.
For amounts exceeding $10,000: split e-Transfers over multiple days, or use a linked account transfer if available in the app.
Direct Deposit with Neo
Neo Chequing and Neo Savings funds are ultimately held in trust at a CDIC member institution; where the older Neo Everyday or Neo High-Interest Savings naming still applies, the account is offered directly by Peoples Bank of Canada.
