Who Is Primary Caregiver?
The primary caregiver is usually the mother, but can be:
- Father (if living with child)
- Grandparent
- Guardian
- Shared custody (50% each)
Shared Custody
If custody is 50/50:
- Each parent receives 50% of CCB
- Based on each parent’s income
- Must notify CRA of arrangement
